ABS-CBN vs Willie Revillame

Abs-Cbn already filed 2 cases para ma hinto ang show ni willie at para kay Willie but in both na bigo sila so hey filed another, for a copyright own ng show na wowowee na ginagaya daw ng willing willie.
Willie expressed his feelings and emotions about this in his show he is ready to defend his show.

another is because dahil natalo ang manok niya for presidential bet na si sen.
Ako hindi ko kakalabanin ang isang kumpanya lalo n ang Abs-cbn one of the biggest in the philippines and world and part of the LOpez Group Of Companies.

THIS IS ALL MY OPINION IF YOU HAVE SOME JUST COMMENT NALANG PO :)

*MY AMNESIA GIRL* Nov 24 NA!

starring: TONI GONZAGA AND JOHN LLOYD CRUZ and directed by Cathy Garcia Molina under Star Cinema sa NOVEMBER 24 NA!

Ms.Charo Santos Concio airs her side on the decision made by Judge Cortez. She said:

Zanjoe Marudo Wants to Introduce Cristine Reyes to His Family

The Prince of Passion revealed that members of his family are fans of their love team.

“Natutuwa sila sa amin. Sabi nga nila kahit first time namin ni AA (Cristine’s nickname) na magkatrabaho, pero ‘pag tinignan mo kami, komportable kami magkasama,” he said.

The two have been very vocal about liking each other. That is why people wondered why they didn’t come as dates in the recent Star Magic Ball, where Zanjoe arrived with his “Sa ‘Yo Lamang” co-star Bea Alonzo.

“Ilang oras bago mag-ball, dun ko lang nalaman na pupunta pala siya. Two days before the ball, niyaya na rin siya ni Christian Bautista na maging date. So nakakahiya naman na yayain ko pa siya eh may ka-date na siya,’ he said.

Zanjoe maintained that he didn’t get jealous of Christian. “Nung nagkita naman kami ni Cristine sa ball, nag-usap naman kami. So wala namang issue,” the hunk actor said.

This week, fans of Zantine (Zanjoe and Cristine) are in for a treat as their characters Jewel and Jaime continue to be more honest about their feelings.

Jewel will also finally reveal his true identity as a Fortalejo to her “husband.”

Meanwhile, Jewel’s sister Emerald is in danger after Marco’s mom Julia De Silva finally reveals her true colors. Julia is hatching a plan against Emerald with Alfon, who has been antagonizing both Emerald and Jewel.

Will Jaime listen to his heart and protect Jewel or stand by his loyalty to the De Silvas? Will Jewel and Marco be able to rescue Emerald from danger?

Find out this week on the epic TV adaptation of “Martha Cecilia’s Kristine,” from Monday to Friday, after “Magkaribal” on ABS-CBN

Did Cristine Reyes avoid Rayver Cruz at the Star Magic ball?

Although the party was already in full swing when Cristine Reyes arrived at the Star Magic ball last September 5, she still attracted the attention of the local media not only because of her sexy backless gown but also because she came as Christian Bautista’s date. ABS-CBN.com also noticed how attentive Christian was to Cristine during the night of the ball and was looking after her even as she mingled with other Kapamilya stars. The two have been romantically linked ever since they admitted that they watched a movie together.

But Cristine later told ABS-CBN.com that it’s too early for people to speculate about the real score between her and Christian. “Updated ka ha! [Pero] ligaw na agad? Bilis naman!” She further related how the dashing balladeer invited her to the ball. “Very casual lang niya ako in-ask. Okay naman. Medyo nabigla lang ako. I mean ‘di ko in-expect na i-invite niya ako. Kasi ayoko nga din sa mga ball kasi feeling ko pressure. Pero okay naman, relaxed lang, na-enjoy ko yung night,” she beamed.

On the other hand, Cristine was quick to dodge questions about former suitor Rayver Cruz whom she briefly dated a few months back. The two had a falling out though when Cristine found out about Rayver’s alleged involvement with Sarah Geronimo. “Minsan akala mo perfect na, yun pala malalaman mo may sabit pala,” she once said in an interview with Boy Abunda in Showbiz News Ngayon. She also admitted that she stopped communicating with him to put a stop to the intrigues about them.

When asked if they saw each other at the ball, Cristine merely replied, “No. Hindi rin kami nagkausap.” Christian, who was with Cristine when ABS-CBN.com interviewed her, confirmed that they didn’t bump into Rayver at the ballroom. And the only person she really had a long chat with was her good friend Dianne Medina, who happens to be the girlfriend of Rayver’s brother, Rodjun Cruz. But other than that, Cristine pretty much avoided the crowd and quietly left the party with Christian still in tow.

GMA Network Releases New Guidelines for Crisis Coverage

After a thorough review immediately after the coverage of the hostage crisis last August 23, GMA Network is releasing an improved set of ethical and safety guidelines for future crisis coverage. These elaborate on existing policies contained in the network's ethics manual.

GMA News and Public Affairs has said it is open to dialogue with authorities on how they can coordinate during situations such as the August 23 hostage crisis.

Below are GMA Network's revised set of ethical and safety guidelines for crisis coverage:

GMA Network ethical and safety guidelines for crisis coverage:

1. Exercise extra care in airing live interviews and live coverage during hostage and other situations that involve law enforcement operations that are risky to our field personnel, those involved in the incident (e.g., hostages and hostage taker), and the public. Always be aware that lives may be at stake.

2. In the event of live coverage, avoid revealing in video and audio the plans, positions, movements, weapons, and preparations of law enforcers.

3. Avoid interviewing or otherwise talking to hostage-takers, potential suicides, and other subjects of imminent law enforcement operations. Decline police requests to negotiate or otherwise mediate with the above except for extraordinary reasons and cleared with top management.

4. Never portray as acceptable the actions of hostage-takers, potential suicides, and other subjects of law enforcement operations.

5. Assume that hostage-takers and other subjects of police and military action are monitoring the coverage through television, radio, computer, or cell phone (via sms, web connection, or calls from others who are monitoring the coverage on other media).

6. Assume that regardless of demeanor of hostage-taker or gunman, he is unstable and dangerous, and may have intent to kill.

7. Assume that police may not be able to handle media or a crowd. Thus we must know when and how to restrain ourselves.

8. Assume that children will be watching so we must make an effort to avoid graphic speech and video that could be disturbing to the viewing public.

9. Explain to viewers why certain information is being withheld.

10. Avoid airing announcements of fatalities until verified by authorities on the record and/or notification of next of kin.

11. In coverage of any crisis involving law enforcement and rescue operations, coverage teams must use the appropriate protective equipment—including bullet-proof vests, helmets, gas masks, life vests, etc.

12. Assign professionals in our organization to focus only on the ethical, safety, and non-technical aspects of our coverage during crisis situations and give immediate feedback to decision-makers when the coverage threatens to violate our standards for safety and conduct. Safety officers and news managers can be deployed to check on the safety preparations of field personnel.

13. When possible, coordinate with the authorities when a crisis situation occurs, thus creating an opportunity for the authority to relay information vital to our safety.

14. Avoid unnecessary risks. The safety of personnel, the public, and those directly involved in the incident is paramount. No story is worth sacrificing lives for.

Claire dela Fuente, Bela Padilla‘s manager, revealed on the showbiz-oriented program Juicy! last Thursday that her talent was indeed harassed by Endless Love co-star Marian Rivera.

19-year-old Padilla plays the role of Yumi Ramirez in GMA’s primetime series Endless Love which is topbilled by Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. Padilla’s character is a girlfriend of Dingdong Dantes‘ character and the two have plenty of scenes together.

According to reports, one of the scenes in the said tv series saw Bela getting too close, literally and not just figuratively, to Dingdong which ignited jealousy from Dingdong’s real life girlfriend Marian Rivera, who is also the show’s lead star.

Marian Rivera allegedly confronted Bela Padilla inside a bathroom and threaten the budding actress to avoid getting close with her boyfriend.

Here is the statement of Claire dela Fuente on Juicy! last Thursday:

Ang landi landi mo!”, she said.

Popoy Caritativo, the manager of Marian Rivera on the other hand released a statement yesterday regarding Claire dela Fuente‘s claims.

“Hindi na kami magsasalita. Ginagamit lang nila si Marian. Hindi namin sila papatulan. Kahit sa GMA, hindi na kami magsasalita,” was his short response.

So who do you think among the two talent managers is telling the truth?

John Lloyd Cruz trains for his fight scenes in 'Imortal'

John Lloyd Cruz is about to return to primetime TV with the upcoming teleserye Imortal which pairs him for the first time with Angel Locsin. John Lloyd shared that the entire cast and production staff are doing their best to make this action-fantaserye the best of its kind. “Totoong mataas ang expectation ng mga tao. Tapos may mga maririnig ka pa na sasabihin sa iyong best actor ka ng generation na ito. Baka malubog na talaga ‘yung ulo ko. Pero ako, kasama ang ibang artista, creative team, at director, we are all doing our best para mapaganda ‘yung project,” John Lloyd told reporters who visited him at the set of Imortal.

This is John Lloyd’s first time to do a fantaserye and although he is already considered a seasoned actor, he confessed that he had to learn so many things when he started working on Imortal. “Ngayon lang ako sasabak sa genre na may halong fantasy. In the past years ang mga ginagawa ko puro lang base sa real life. Drama, romantic comedy. Dito sa Imortal medyo nangangapa pa ako. Excited ako na bago siyang genre. Para akong inilagay sa ibang realidad. Kung dati ang tingin ko sa isang script o journey e ito lang, ngayon mas malawak na kasi may halo ng fantasy. Plus bagong leading lady pa so nakaka-excite talaga itong project na ‘to.”

Solid fans of the actor will also get to see a new John Lloyd in Imortal since he will be doing some fight scenes although he clarified that the change of image for this teleserye is not that drastic. The actor further clarified that his fight scenes in the teleserye is not like those in hardcore action films. “Hindi naman talaga pang action star ‘yung mga action scenes ko. May mga eksenang medyo pisikal, like suntukan. Sa story kasi merong kunwari na underground fighting. Sa mga ilang episodes makikita niyo akong may fight scenes. Lahat kaming actors na gagawa ng fight scenes nag-training kami sa mixed martial arts.”

Sarah Geronimo says it is a breeze working Sam Milby and Coco Martin

Sarah Geronimo felt relieved because of the successful pilot episode of Idol, her teleserye with Sam Milby and Coco Martin. This is also the singer-actress’s comeback TV project after two years. “Kahit papaano kasi nakita namin na tinutukan ng mga tao ‘yung simula ng show,” explained Sarah. “’Yun na lang ho ang concern namin ma-maintain ang nasimulan namin. Kami naman nandito kami para pagbutihan ang trabaho namin, para pasayahin ‘yung mga tao, tuluy-tuloy po ‘yan.

Though she is already considered a Box Office Queen, Sarah shared that she felt worried that her latest TV project would not earn positive feedback. “Lahat naman po ng proyektong ginagawa ko, andyan ‘yung pressure kung tatanggapin ba ng tao,” she said. “Matagal na rin po akong hindi umaarte lalo na sa TV.” Sarah added that it gave her confidence knowing that she worked with competitive people, from her co-actors to their directors. “Nakakatuwa naman ang laking tulong kasi maganda ang working relationship ng bawat katrabaho ko sa set, magmula sa mga directors to co-stars. Nagre-reflect naman na pleasant [at] maayos ‘yung pagtatrabaho, nage-enjoy kami.

Sarah also gets to work with two new leading men in Idol, Sam and Coco. Since she gets to work with Sam on ASAP XV every Sunday, the young singer related that it was a breeze working with the Fil-American actor. “Si Sam matagal ko na pong nakakausap bago pa kami mag-start ng project na Idol, so okay naman, mas komportable na. Very happy kasi na-appreciate naman ng tao ‘yung team-up nga namin ni Sam. Marami daw kinilig so maraming salamat at sana mas mapakilig pa namin sila sa mga susunod na gabi,” she said.

Though it is her first time to work with Coco, Sarah is thankful that they she and Coco have attended workshops together, which was a good icebreaker for the both of them. “First time naming magkita [nung] sa workshop, nakakatuwa kasi natanggap agad [namin ‘yung isa’t isa] at ‘yung ilang [nawala agad]. Parang antagal na naming magkatrabaho, parang nag-click na agad, maganda,” she described her working relationship with Coco.

Sarah is glad that she has good chemistry with both Sam and Coco. “Doble ho ‘yung happiness at ‘yung excitement ho sa part ko kasi nagiging effective ‘yung partnership ko sa parehong leading man. Exciting kasi inaabangan ‘yun kung saan talaga mai-endear ‘yung tao kung kay Lando (Coco) or Vince (Sam), kung kanino karapat-dapat si Billie at Jean (Sarah’s two characters in the soap opera).”

Sharon Cuneta says she’s been considering retiring from showbiz

With three new shows in the works, fans of Megastar Sharon Cuneta can’t wait for Sharon At Home (which will air on Lifestyle Network), Star Power, and The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition to air. With a lot of work lined up for her, it was surprising when Sharon admitted to media during her press conference at the ABS-CBN compound last September 9 that she had seriously considered retiring from showbiz a couple of times already. “It hits me every once in a while, because I’m not longer 25. I’m now a mother. What used to be so easy to do physically is not so easy anymore. Dati kahit tatlong gabi walang tulog okay lang eh. Ngayon parang your priorities change talaga as you grow older,” she says. The doting wife and mother of three also admits she wants to always prioritize her family if she can. “My children are growing up so I don’t enjoy being away from them. And when my husband is going through a tough time in his work, I want to be there for him when he gets home just to comfort him, so we can be there for each other,” she shares.

The industry icon, who’s been in showbiz for a long time, blames divine intervention as the reason why she has not given up being in the spotlight. “When I think of retirement, God gives me a very clear sign through movie projects like Madrasta and Caregiver. Then now I all of a sudden have three shows, all at the same time! So parang andito na ako sa point ng buhay ko na after three decades in show business, parang now it’s the time to give back. Tapos habang nagbibigay naman ako, marami pa rin si Lord binibigay sa akin. Tuwing gusto kong mag-retire, isang damakdak ang dumadating sa akin [na projects]. Parang sign yun na parang sinasabi ni God na, ‘Huwag muna anak, marami pa tayong project.’ (laughs). So ako naman, masunuring anak. So ‘pag sinabing ganito, may chance na may ma-touch akong life, lalo na kung makagawa ako ng malaking difference sa buhay ng kahit isang tao. Yun ang mahalaga sa akin. Siyempre natutuwa ako kasi magandang ehemplo sa mga anak ko, yun lang tina-try ko, pini-pray kong mapanindigan ko lahat iyon,” she says. Sharon says she takes these signs as another opportunity to do good and entertain more people while she still can. “Now it’s no longer about turning a regular paycheck. Parang I want that at the end of my life, I’ll be able to say na I did a lot for others in your very short time on this earth. Sorry I’m not a self-righteous person pero it’s so much easier to do good things for other people than to be selfish. At least that’s how I am,” she explains.

Sharon says she was also looking to do something different from the usual talk show musical format she was doing on Sharon. I was also in need of a change. Parang I was not the only person that could keep on doing what I was regularly doing. Though I enjoyed it. Pero after a while, there had to be a higher calling. And in my humble opinion, this is part of the higher calling. And this is all I know how to do. I love to sing. I love to act. I love to perform. I love being in this business, I just don’t like the business. But I love being in it. I love having a family in the press. I love having a family on TV, in the movies. It’s all very personal to me now and I’m just earning my keep,” she says.

Korean superstar Rain no ‘fugitive’ to success

South Korean singer and actor Jung Ji-Hoon, more popularly known as Rain, visited the Philippines in a whirlwind one-week flurry of activities that included shooting scenes for Fugitive, his upcoming Korean television series and staging his first-ever show in Manila.

Joined by his director and fellow actors Daniel Henney (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), Lee Na Young (“Someone Special”), Lee Jungjin (“Love Story in Harvard”), and Yoon Jin Seo (“The Return of Iljimae”), Rain underscored the importance of hard work.

“As an actor,” he says, “I want to shoot more television dramas to show my capabilities as an actor and what is best in me.”

Rain knows full well the importance of hard work. His first two years in the Korean entertainment industry resulted in two full-length albums and a meaty role in the Korean television show Sang Doo! Let’s Go To School! It was not, however, until 2004, when he starred in the successful romantic comedy series Full House, when his career took off. The hit show aired all over Asia, including the Philippines, making Rain a household name and propelling his third full-length album, It’s Raining, to Asian sales of over one million copies.

“I’m happy and proud of my achievements,” he says.

Six years after the success of Full House, Rain has racked up the kind of international acclaim that other Asian stars usually dream about. He has starred in two Hollywood films – Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin, for which he won an MTV Movie Award – and released five more albums in Japanese and Korean, including his latest CD, a mini-album titled Back to Basics.

Currently in the Philippines to shoot his latest television show, a romantic comedy slash thriller slash drama Рyes, apparently, that kind of TV amalgam is possible with a star like Rain Рtitled Fugitive, opposite Korean ing̩nue Lee Na Young and Korean-American actor-model Daniel Henney. Set to air all over Asia in the next few months, Fugitive, which may be distributed in certain Asian countries as Runaway, is the story of a private investigator named Jiwoo (played by Rain), whose assessment of a very high-profile case earns him money, a solid reputation, and a one-way ticket to danger.

Rain is also set to deliver a phenomenal performance on September 11 in Smart and TV5’s Intensity! show. Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds, Intensity! will also feature Korean boy band U-Kiss, and Filipino balladeer Christian Bautista. Rain admits that Intensity!, his first show in the Philippines, will give his Filipino fans only a taste of his almost decade-long career. What can they expect at the show?

“Anything,” he says slyly. Considering all his achievements, such a simple and cryptic answer can only be expected from Rain, Korea’s biggest name in pop entertainment.

The iDOL star graced the cover of the Cosmo Men supplement that is included in the September issue of Cosmopolitan.

The other celebrity centerfolds had their own way of teasing the crowd that night.

Kapuso Joross Gamboa showed off his muscles that he worked hard to develop.

Stage actor and MYX VJ finalist Marco Mañalac initially wore pants on the ramp but when he reached the end, he ripped the pants off to reveal black briefs underneath!
Bryann Foronda, the winner of the Cosmo Steamy Stud contest, gave a bow to the audience.

Angelica Panganiban doesn’t want to think that she is the new ‘Queen’ of ABS-CBN

While Angelica Panganiban has been reaping praise for her acting both in drama and comedy, she said she remains very grounded. “Hindi pa siya nagsi-sink in sa akin at feeling ko never siyang papasok sa isip ko. Siguro ‘yung mga taong nagmamahal na lang sa akin ang mag appreciate nun at hindi ako,” she told reporters after her recent contract signing with Star Cinema. Angelica is currently shooting the comedy horror Bulong with Vhong Navarro, and next year, she is slated to do a movie with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo and another one with boyfriend Derek Ramsay.

Angelica further said that now Star Cinema has lined up three film projects for her, she would rather think of herself as any ordinary person who was given a big blessing. “As much as possible gusto ko tao pa rin ako. Pumasok ako ngayon, pumirma ng kontrata, nabigyan ng trabaho. Para lang akong kahit sinong empleyado na nabigyan ng promotion ba. Mamaya lalabas ako na parang normal na tao pa rin.

When asked if she deserves the title as the new “Queen” of ABS-CBN, Angelica joked, “Hindi po totoo ‘yan. Wala akong korona, ha ha ha! Mahirap mabigyan ng ganung title, na reyna ka. Gusto ko kapag naging reyna ako sa akin lang ‘yung korona, hindi ko ipapasa sa iba…echoz! ‘Di ba kapag beauty queen ka isang taon lang, tapos next year ipapasa mo na. Baka hindi na ibigay sa akin ‘yung korona ng reyna kasi alam nilang ipagdadamot ko, ha ha ha!”

Angelica practically grew up in showbiz, having been acting for 18 years now. From being a child star, she successfully transitioned into a mature actress. Although she appears to be on top of her game at this time, Angelica said she is trying her best not too get too caught up with success. “As much as possible gusto mong i-block off kung ano mang pakiramdam ‘yung pwedeng pumasok sa iyo. Pwede kasing makasira sa iyo ‘yung pakiramdam na ‘yun. Baka kasi natatakot ka so gusto mong tanggalin ‘yun. Baka pumangit ‘yung trabaho mo o lumaki ‘yung ulo mo which is hindi na maganda.”

Celebrity Fashion: Star Magic celebrities add Hollywood glamor to the Star Magic Ball with their vintage-inspired gown

The Star Magic Ball became reminiscent of old ‘50s Hollywood as stars showed up in classic pieces. The timeless look was both understated yet still sexy at the same time. Bea Alonzo, Kristine Hermosa, Kim Chiu, and Shaina Magdayao’s gowns would be just as equally stunning when photographed in black and white as it would be in color. The classic cut of their gowns did not distract from their flawless figures and complexions. Angel Aquino wore a Victorian-inspired gown made by Patrice Ramos-Diaz that had vintage accessories to complete the look. “I love that this dress is so in the character of Vera (the character she plays in the hit series Magkaribal), that’s what I thought when I saw it. I don’t know if it was the designer’s inspiration for making the gown. I like that it’s Victorian and it’s romantic. She also decided to provide me with the earrings na rin to complete the look,” Angel shared.

Other notable gowns that evoked the same vintage feel were worn by Anne Curtis (who bagged the night’s Most Glamorous award), Rica Peralejo, Erich Gonzales, Megan Young, and Regine Angeles. It is a known fashion rule that no matter what you wear, you should never let your dress overpower you. According to Rica Peralejo, “I just wanted to wear something classy for the night. I went for a classic look. It’s so easy to go with the popular trend, but I just wanted to be seen in something na when I look back 20 years from now and see what I was wearing for this night, parang gusto ko isipin na, ‘Uy, puwede pa rin!’”

Some people make the mistake of letting what they wear define them, thinking that the outfit can carry itself. But these celebs showed that a classic outfit can only be totally pulled off with the right amount of pizzazz and grace that reminds us of classic Hollywood fashion icons like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

Angelica Panganiban still believes that reconciliation is possible

During Angelica Panganiban’s recent contract signing with Star Cinema, it was revealed that there are plans for a new teleserye for her and Gretchen Barretto slated for next year. Nothing is certain about this project at this time because Gretchen is still busy with her current top-rating teleserye Magkaribal while Angelica is shooting the comedy horror movie Bulong with Vhong Navarro. But Angelica confirmed that she had been informed about this proposed series and she had told her boyfriend Derek Ramsay about it. “Nabanggit lang siya sa akin. Sobra akong na-excite. Siyempre si Derek ‘yung una kong napagsabihan. Sabi ko, ‘Uy may chika ako sa ‘yo!’Bakla talaga ako magkwento kay Derek. Natuwa siya, sabi niya sobrang mage-enjoy daw ako kasama si Ms. Gretchen. Sabi ko nga baka hindi na ituloy ng ABS-CBN ‘yung project kasi baka hindi na kami mag-shoot, magkwentuhan na lang kami buong araw sa set.”

When asked how she feels about doing a teleserye with Gretchen, Angelica joked, “Papayag ako kapag naibigay na niya ‘yung red stilettos ko, ha ha ha! Wala pa rin e. Naghihintay ako. Ms. Gretchen, size six po ang paa ko. Gusto ko rin po sana mga 60,000 pesos and above, echoz!” This was in reference to Gretchen’s joke in a TV interview wherein she said “I will not give her war, I will give her red stilettos.” This happened following the end of the tension between them which was brought about by Angelica’s feisty reaction to Gretchen’s closeness to Derek who is the latter’s leading man in Magkaribal.

Angelica went on to say that she believes that every dispute or disagreement can easily be settled if both parties are willing to extend a hand of reconciliation. “May rainbow after the rain, sabi sa song ‘di ba? Ganun naman talaga. Sa lahat ng bagay na may mga ganyang issues, kapag may gusot naaayos naman sa maayos na usapan, magandang paraan. Basta bukas ang isip mo sa ganung klaseng bagay.”

The young actress, however, is still mum on the much-publicized war between her and Gretchen’s younger sister Claudine Barretto. Angelica’s lawyer recently sent a demand letter to Claudine, ordering the latter to retract her statements accusing Angelica of spreading malicious rumors against her. There have been reports that because of the serious threats that Claudine had sent to Angelica, the latter has hired bodyguards for her protection. During her contract signing with Star Cinema, Angelica refused to confirm if this was true. Nonetheless, a man who is said to be the hired personal security for Angelica was spotted nearby.
