Sarah Geronimo shares how important her family is to her

In spite of her titles as Box Office Queen and Popstar Princess, Sarah Geronimo told ABS-CBN.com that her close family ties are more important than the success she’s enjoying right now. She still remembers how scared she was when her dad almost got kidnapped last month. Dun ako nagpapasalamat talaga,” she enthused.

Although she runs a tight schedule as the lead star of the teleserye Idol, the 22-year old shared that she still spends some quality time with her family. “Unless meron ako talagang commitment after ASAP XV, we make sure na every Sunday after ASAP nagba-bonding kami. Nagtse-church kami, dinner or movie.” But they have to take necessary precautions when they go out because of what happened to her father.

In the meantime, Sarah revealed that she won’t be doing any concerts abroad anytime soon because she is going to focus all her efforts on Idol for now. Fortunately, she was given a midnight cut-off during her taping days so that her singing voice won’t suffer the usual long working hours. “Oo, nakakatulog ako. I am very lucky na napagbigyan ako sa show na ito ng cut-off hanggang 12 midnight lang. So ok, safe naman ang boses ko.

Sarah is also grateful to her mom for making sure that she stays on the go all the time amid all the hassles at work “Siyempre napapagod ka din sa work, nandyan yung pwede ka magkasakit.
