Bea Alonzo doesn't want to get involved in issues concerning Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson

With a top-rating primetime teleserye Magkaribal and a second movie for this year, Sa ‘Yo Lamang, Bea Alonzo seems to be on top of her game. At the press conference of Sa ‘Yo Lamang, reporters asked if she wanted anything more at this point, like a love life. “Okay naman ang puso pero sa dami ng trabaho ito muna ‘yung iniisip ko. Everyday akong nagtatrabaho.”

Rumors are still going around that Bea is now being courted by Gerald Anderson, who was reported to have broken up with rumored girlfriend and ka-love team Kim Chiu. When asked if Gerald is really courting her, Bea avoided the issue. “Bakit ako po ang sasagot niyan? Hindi po dapat ako ang sumasagot niyan, ha ha ha! Iba na lang ang pag-usapan natin. Baka naman hindi na tayo makapag-focus sa ibinebenta naming pelikula. Ang ganda-ganda pa naman ng movie namin.”

There are also claims that die-hard Kim-Gerald fans are angry at Bea for allegedly stealing Gerald away from Kim. “Nakakalungkot. Kahit sino naman malulungkot kapag maraming tao ang may hindi gusto sa iyo. Pero wala naman akong ginagawang [masama]. Wala akong dapat ikabahala. Sa ngayon nagtatrabaho lang ako.”

During the interview, the 22-year-old actress tried evading questions concerning Gerald because according to her, she doesn’t want to get involved with anything negative at this point in her career. “Hindi ko alam kung ano talaga ang sasabihin ko. Sa totoo lang hindi kasi ako aware and hindi ko rin gusto maging aware kasi ang gusto ko namnamin lang ‘yung mga madaming magagandang nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon kaysa isipin ‘yung mga negative issue.” She further reasoned that given her super hectic schedule because of Sa ‘Yo Lamang and Magkaribal, she has no time for controversies. “Everyday na akong nagtatrabaho because of Magkaribal and Sa Yo Lamang. Kahit Sundays may work ako kaya hindi na ako nakakapag ASAP. Sa dami ng ginagawa ko wala na akong time para magisip pa ng mga negative things.”

On whether she is open to working with Gerald, Bea only said, “Depende sa materyal at kung sino ang direktor namin at kung napapanahon.” When also asked if she has someone special in her life right now, she answered, “Lagi akong nagmamahal. Marami akong minamahal. At sa ngayon minamahal ko ang sarili ko higit sa lahat.”
